- Which benefits they are excluded from
- Who is covered by exceptions and who can still get benefits
- What is the relevance of having 'recourse to public funds'
- Mixed-status households and eligibility
- What are the benefits implications of a change in immigration status
By the end of the course you will be able to:
- Identify who is a PSIC
- Understand your clients' eligibility for benefits
- Advise clients in mixed status households
- Understand the significance of a change in your clients immigration status
