  • Which benefits they are excluded from
  • Who is covered by exceptions and who can still get benefits
  • What is the relevance of having 'recourse to public funds'
  • Mixed-status households and eligibility
  • What are the benefits implications of a change in immigration status

By the end of the course you will be able to:

  • Identify who is a PSIC
  • Understand your clients' eligibility for benefits
  • Advise clients in mixed status households
  • Understand the significance of a change in your clients immigration status
