Welfare Benefits LSC Caseworker
Organisation: Rochdale and District CAB
28 hours per week. Possible full-time from October 2010. LA Scale 6 / pt 26-29 dependent on experience + pension

The post is based at Rochdale CABx.
You should have at least one year's experience of in-depth casework in welfare benefits gained in a CAB. Experience of benefit appeals. Training in supervisory skills would be an advantage though this is something which can be gained in post.
You will join a team of 2 other LSC Caseworkers in the Rochdale District and must be able to manage a heavy caseload and work to Legal Services Commission requirements including assisting us to achieve preferred supplier status.
