You will provide comprehensive housing benefit and welfare benefit advice to our residents and staff to maximise Trust income and prevent and reduce rent arrears.
With a good understanding of social housing and relevant legislation, combined with up-to-date knowledge of both housing and welfare benefits, you will be able to understand and interpret accounting systems in relation to Housing Benefit. The ability to calculate benefit levels is essential, as is the ability to keep clear and concise records. You must also have intermediate level computer literacy in Word and Excel and excellent communication skills.
