Generalist Adviser / Caseworker for people with Learning Difficulties and Disabilities

Based in an inner city multi-racial area of Leeds, Chapeltown CAB provides a comprehensive advice service from its main office and outreaches.

This new project will present you with an exciting opportunity to develop a quality generalist advice service tailored to meet the specific needs of people with Learning Difficulties/Disabilities initially in the South of the City.

These sessions will provide advice to people with Learning Difficulties / Disabilities and their Carers.

You should have recent experience, full or part time equivalent, paid or unpaid, of advising clients and carrying casework within a generalist advice work setting including recent experience of all aspects of welfare rights advice.

You will be expected to carry your own caseload.

Enhanced level CRB check: because these advisers will work closely with vulnerable clients an enhanced criminal record check will be required for all successful applicants.
