Welfare Advice Officer, York -
Starting salary: £19,716 (pro rata) pa, plus benefits
Hours of work: 17.5 per week
This is an exciting and challenging post for someone who has experience of working with residents in their communities.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated individual who is able to demonstrate a commitment to providing high quality customer service and a flexible approach to work.
You will need:
- a commitment to the development of Welfare Services;
- experience of providing direct advice, assistance and information on benefit related issues;
- the ability to interpret and apply complex legislation, rules and regulations;
- a detailed and up-to-date knowledge of relevant Welfare Benefit and Tax Credit Legislation.
